Scripting for the Web

Javascript & jQuery for Platt College

August 11, 2015

Code Challenges

What are code challenges? They are a way to test your skill and give you practical application (read: time behind keyboard) of the JavaScript/jQuery you worked with in class already. These will be half hour to hour long exercises on the screen at the start of class. The earlier you get here, the earlier you can get started. I’ll be in close to a half hour before class in order to allow for as much extra time as possible.

These are part of your participation grade, which is 25% of your over all grade. Each code challenge is 2.5% – but all told they add up to 20% of your total grade. You will want to be here on the days that we have code challenges if at all possible. And if you are not, there will be opportunities to make them up.
